So, I haven’t been here for the past couple of days. I haven’t made time for working on my personal projects. But, I have completed the landing page and renewed the plugin licenses for my client. So I can mark that off. 🙂
My car is also giving me trouble, where the harmonic balancer and air-con pulley have been rubbing. It’ll get fixed next week apparently.
Today I’m going to try and complete the Procrastinate Zero course. I’ve spent the past two hours procrastinating on Reddit. I finally tore myself away from the couch, and here I am.
I’m up to: 1.4 How To Build Self-Confidence
So, I now know that to focus on one thing and start small.
Right now, I need to study and write One Pillar Post article. That’s what I’ll be focusing on as soon as I complete this course.
And, do it everyday.
Ok, my goal is to write a minimum of 250 words per day. After I comfortable with that, I’m going to increase it 500 words per day.
Another thing I need to remember is KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). Stop trying to make things fancy – Just Do It.
Also, track my progress. That’s what this site is all about now.
Focus your attention on one thing at a time.
Gary Keller and Jay Papasan, authors of The One Thing, said “Where I had huge success, I had narrowed my concentration to one thing, and where my success varied, my focus had too.”
Tomorrow, I’m going to focus on finishing this course.
